FP Technologies specialises in the design and manufacture of HDPE canal boat shells. Once the shell has been completed, the internal fit-out, onboard systems and finishing work are undertaken by an experienced boat builder.
We currently work with The Bespoke Boat Company and Stoke Boats. Both companies have experience creating individually specified canal boats and can work with customers to develop the layout, interior and equipment required for their completed boat.
By involving the chosen boat builder early in the process, the shell design and internal fit-out can be carefully coordinated from the outset.

Established Boatbuilding Skills, Tailored Interior Fit-Outs
Based at Longport Wharf in Stoke-on-Trent, Stoke Boats has been building and working on canal boats since 1980. That long-standing experience gives its team a strong practical understanding of boat construction, onboard systems and the demands of life on the waterways.
For FP Technologies projects, Stoke Boats focuses on completing the HDPE shell with a bespoke interior fit-out. Its work can include handcrafted joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, sleeping areas, heating, plumbing, electrics and other onboard systems, all developed around the customer’s chosen layout and specification.
The partnership combines FP Technologies’ modern HDPE shell construction with Stoke Boats’ established boatbuilding knowledge and interior craftsmanship, creating a finished boat that is durable, comfortable and individually detailed.
